Creative Homes is an experiential home visiting service that uses trained artists to identify and solve every day stresses in the home. We aim to help families reduce their stress, so they become healthier and more resilient, with the ultimate objective of improving children’s outcomes.

Creative Homes is targeted at higher need families often from lower income backgrounds.

 

Business Development Manager

We are looking for an exceptional Business Development Manager with a high level of skill in sales and communications to play a pivotal role in driving our organisation forward through the development and delivery of our sales and communications strategy.

We need a game-changer; someone who is a self-starter, self-motivated, self-confident and ready to deliver on an ambitious business and sales strategy. You need to be enthusiastic and comfortable selling our service in a range of ways including cold calling and public events.

You will be trained in sales and write well for press, social media and online in order to implement our communication strategy and increase sales.

 

Our ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience of:

  • the housing sector
  • the public health and local council commissioning
  • completing larger bids i.e. Big Lottery, Children in Need, Esmee Fairburn
  • charity sector commissioning
  • commercial sector and CSR
  • Social Return On Investment

 

Key Duties

Sales

  • To complete grant applications and sales to current 2016 delivery
  • Prepare Creative Homes to attract larger investment for sustainable business
  • Cold calling/approaches, follow leads and open doors to larger investment and sustainable partners
  • Attend key conferences
  • Secure Creative Homes channels for presentations

 

Communications:

  • Implement current communication and social media strategy to boost sales
  • Lead on the Impact Report 2015 and improve impact measurement strategies to increase sales

 

We work in a flexible and dynamic way and this role offers you the opportunity to shape your working hours and work to your strengths as part of an inspiring team and growing service.

We are offering flexible part time hours (approximately 2 days per week for £200 per day).  The initial contract will be for 3 months.  Pending meeting sales targets this contract and post could be extended.
